As per title. Whole board or just voice chip (even 2) needed.
Thanks
Thanks
Space invaders is not using S&T (AS-2518-61) I'm afraid.I might have a board. I just don't know where I've put it.
Not sure of its working condition though as I took it out as part of my Space Invaders shop.
Must have been Elektra then. Just had a look and can't find it yet.Space invaders is not using S&T (AS-2518-61) I'm afraid.
Thx. I've seen that too. Bit silly price as I can get them for $20 from US. Mine still could be fine but got no spare, working board to test them.
Not cheap either!!!!!
Chips or the whole boards?I have a few of these. It will be £40 though due to their scarcity.
I also have one that sounds like a more gravelly voice you can have for a tenner.

i don't think 5220 are a working substitute for 5200On the good note, TMS5220 cost less than £5 from China. At the worst case scenario, got something for testing.
...Obviously, board and original chip still needed.
Yes. I'm aware of that but at least I'd know if there is no other problem with the board. I'll probably take one of Nevs if no other option.i don't think 5220 are a working substitute for 5200
clock timings causing distorted sound or similar
think Nevs offer is fair and UK so no delay/customs etc
cheers Bob
Yes. I know that there is quite few alternatives but i prefer to keep my machines original, also fixing old boards cost me significantly less. Thanks anyway.geotech makes a remake board that uses wav files on a micro sd card instead of the tms chip which is great for adding custom sounds to the pins of this era,and of course there is my pinballs remake as well
