The cynical amongst us might argue that eBay have little reason to clamp down harder on people shill bidding. Sure it's illegal, but the higher the item sells for the more money to line eBays pockets.

Someone I know stupidly tried pulling that trick on a relatively inexpensive item and they managed to detect that without too much trouble and he was banned from eBay as a result.

Mind you, I guess there's nothing to stop people making new accounts with different addresses. It probably explains why they're using so many different seller ID's.

I'm quite new but i've spent a lot of time over the past 6-8 weeks watching eBay auctions for Pinballs. I don't think i've ever seen any with so many bids on - even for really desirable tables. So this machine is either solid gold or something is amiss.
 
Erm, the description for the Hurricane they're selling talks about a Bugs Bunny Pinball.

They've done a copy+paste but not updated any of the info. Madness!!
 
It's annoying when people think that they are genuine selling prices without realising they are shill bidded and will re-appear as a new listing at a later date... :mad: If they don't re-appear then you know they've hoodwinked another pinhead. :(
