Just thought I would post this here as there doesn't seem to be a thread.

Kinda living for the artwork, looking forward to seeing more of it for sure - but what's that swinging ding-dong on the upper playfield all about?

Let’s hope it’s dirt cheap. I can’t see Stern worrying themselves after watching the video.
Definitely but I think it is pretty impressive if they manage to make a run of games.
Really hard for a new company to get off the ground when you have to compete with A well oiled Mach such as Stern.

I can see it being a winner in France if they can make it cheap. With Pros creeping to 9k it could do well there if priced at 5k.

€8900 = about £8k, €2100 (£1900) for the upgraded "LE" pack.

All credit to them for having a go, but it's risky compared to a known qty like a stern.

A cult theme would perhaps be a better seller, but then how much extra would that bang onto the price?

I'd love to see one at pinfest though!!!

8 grand😱

So how many people would honestly chose this game over all the other pro level games?

Talk about pricing yourself out if the market.

In all honesty I’d be out at 4 grand. It just looks utterly basic. Far more like a home brew game than a professional release.

It’s got to play better than it looks surely?

I think they’re dead on arrival at that price.

@Hiltoncriss has a Super Hoops at Pinball Office and it’s a fun, relatively simple 80s throwback title with a modern screen/rules/lighting, but - critically - it’s priced to reflect that.

Space Hunt is trying to compete with Stern, CGC, Spooky, American Pinball… Apart from the funky music, what is is offering over any of those games? The theme doesn’t even make sense - what are they hunting in space? Robots? 🤷‍♂️

Got to agree here. 8k is just ludicrous. Especially with no license to pay for.
I quite like the look of the game and the layout isn't anymore basic than Led Zeppelin or Sword of rage imo but only the diehards would consider this over anything else.

But then again people have paid 25k for a Bond so anything can surprise in this hobby

Remember the quiz machine in 'Time Gentlemen Please' with Al Murray.

Fact Hunt.

If it was the same price as super hoops - it may be fun.

Can not see how it gets to 8900 euro.

BUT DO NOT FORGET THE VAT @ 20% when it lands.

Using Romains old Team Pinball board. Easy to replace mosfets etc....

Love 'Time Gentlemen Please' and agree, at Super Hoops pricing may have got a bit of interest from me, just for a bit of fun (on a side note I'm still waiting on the arrival of my Super Hoops...can't be much longer now!!!) but at this price point, pretty much a non starter ....even with its to quote @MajesticPinball 'swinging ding-dong on the upper playfield' 🤣

Some gameplay footage from a stream they did.

Animations are actually quite nice. There's one mode called Sniper which you have to load a ball back into the shooter lane to load a bullet in the gun and then hit a target which I thought was quite cool........not 8 grand cool tho 😁
Agreed...lots to like there....at 6k or below they could have been onto a real winner.....it's a real shame they pitched the price so high☹️

I think they should have waited before demonstration of this game. The code kept hanging and animations froze. it even crashed 'to desktop' at about 6 minutes in.

Yeah they definitely had an oh feck look on their faces at one point haha.

I suppose they need to get it out their to drum up sales but then shooting themselves in the foot by a half finished code.
