has anyone got an idea how much space a tombstoned Stern or WMS takes up? including the lost space.

You get approx 2 in the same area you had one before. i suspect you could get 6-7 along one of your sidewalls.

By the time you’ve stated tombstombing you know you have a problem.

Ah yes - the kind of storage requirements where tombstoning alone doesn't cut the mustard anymore, and you start needing to use up more vertical space - that's a special sort of hell.

Spot on ! I have Nitro like for some time now and looking at doing the same to DW .I first spotted this way of storage at a league meet ,think it was @Telboy house

I've managed to get 2 with heads of under one pin and backbox's on top of each other stacked against the wall

Any chance of a photo? As I’m interested in doing this but just tried My way and the front of the working pinball isn’t high enough to get the back of the project pin under, Let alone the height of the skate? could possibly work side ways but not what I had in mind? Or have the room

The only way I can get DW under the machines is to lift up the two machines about a inch and side it on its side as it's 22 1/4" X 24" . So back to the drawing board for me .
