Okay all.
This was a part exchange that came in that I did a lot of work on.
The original CDM3 laser, mechanism and PCB was taken out. It did work but I do not sell machines I can not support, and CDM3s and CDM4s have been obsolete since the 90s.
What is installed is the Sound Leisure 21st Century mechanism, complete with a new laser in the CDM12 pro player. This is a modern mechanism that is also still supported by the manufacturers.
All relevant control boards have been changed.
Fitted is a dual channel amplifier. One side runs the internal speakers which sound great - and there is another output for additional external speakers. Sounds great.
All lighting is LED. No more fluorescent lights!
The side pillars have WS2811 lamps run by an arduino.
The top circular part has LED tubes installed.
Title cards are lit by an LED strip.
The reason for it being cheap is that the cabinet does need some painting!
Situated in my workshop in B19. Just off J6 of the M6. Martin knows where I am.
Have had the machine playing CD-Rs, which Sound Leisure do not guarantee working but I use this type:
Has a wired two channel remote control, and a reject button on the side.
You can select individual songs, or the complete CD.
If you wish to pick this up yourself then it can be transported on the back as the mechanism will bolt down.
Height - 152cm
Width - 95cm
Depth - 70cm
Will fit thru a standard doorway.
I can add a bluetooth receiver for £40 extra.
Any questions - please ask.
