Get the 'duracell' batteries out of that cpu board ASAP! and fit nvram before you need to spend £600 for a new one!
But Jim, a new board would raise its value to £10,600Get the 'duracell' batteries out of that cpu board ASAP! and fit nvram before you need to spend £600 for a new one!
Agree, Most of the time its not toxic at all, it's a small forum community that I've found to be very helpful. A ridiculous price like this needs a comment. There plenty of other places you can sell for what every price you want, eBay, Facebook etc. I do agree sometimes price comments are unwarranted, but that's for opinion prices like a modern stern isn't more than £6k. It's helpful to a new person to understand roughly what something might be, they can then decide if money is no object to buy. Sopranos isn't a rare game, but there are all sorts who might pay over the odds. If there prepared to pay £4k+ over then they really really want itIt's hardly toxic to call something out that's heavily overpriced.
100% - If i had posted something that was way too high i would like to know sooner rather than later so i can investigate. But thats just me.Surely as a site supporter the seller has paid for the privilege to list his machine and state what he would like for it regardless of it having a slim chance of selling.
The decision was also made to leave the option for members to give their opinions on a sale thread.
Even doing that it's going to take at least 52 weeks to sell.Take my GnR CE thread for example. I set it at a price I thought I could get. I didn't get a sniff so I eventually adopted the dutch oven style auction. It took months to sell but it eventually got there.
Unless your price is firm, maybe drop it by £100 a week?
I think you mean Dutch auction. A Dutch oven is something err, else.Take my GnR CE thread for example. I set it at a price I thought I could get. I didn't get a sniff so I eventually adopted the dutch oven style auction. It took months to sell but it eventually got there.

I believe Phil was being facetious.I think you mean Dutch auction. A Dutch oven is something err, else.

That 5K one is now in my living room and is the nicest one I’ve ever seen. I paid top dollar for it even though I was offered another one for 3800 that looked ok at the time. But quality costs.
This new 10K one must be something really special. Like it has £5,000 in cash inside the coin door, or is delivered and set up personally by Samantha Hoffs in a bikini
Nope your right it wasn't a thing back then to have a HUO. It was played a little when first got then just put in a corner and not really touched. thats why it's in the best condition it is and hardly any plays. Unfortunately it seems some people on here don't appreciate just how good for such a old machine. Hence the price being higher. But I am open to offers. How old is Soprano's 10 - 15 years ? whats amazing is it only has 300 plays 20 games a year , I could have that on a Fri / Sat night on one of mine.
Fair play if it is HUO one could ask as well how many HUO machines would there have been 10 - 15 yrs ago , I bet not many as back then there wasn't as much money in the hobby and most machines were not sold NIB
It's not about pleasing people. You're pitching to a captive audience on this forum and we all know what prices pinball machines sell and don't sell for.I have revised the amount slightly but this is probably still to much for everyone but hay can please everyone. I am open to Sensable Offers as well
Sorry am I missing something what was the price lowered to?Price lowered in reflection. Still for sale

Nice job we got this one from the USA and converted it to UK voltage and plug, and done all the powder coating our self ect. Spent bit time getting it back to new.My favourite TV show and my favourite game, but I’m out the hobby now.
I have had 5 Sopranos and each time I have spent more and more to get them nice.
This looks like one of the first ones I did as I didn’t do the coin door on the first few as the powder coaters always had problems with coin doors on the hinge side.
I’m not saying it is one of mine, but after doing few I can definitely see signs of things I likes to do.
Also looks like the same colour which was Latent Apple Red
The last one I did went to Dan, I spent £2k on that one, glad it’s gone to a new home and hope he is still happy with it.
The one below was one of the first ones I did, I also changed the door locks and a few other bits before Martin collected it.
