I would definitely be in for one.

I imagine Stern being effectively Sega from back in the day would have had a better chance of getting a Sega license but here's hoping it becomes a reality.

Always a bit surprised that Sonic never had a real pin. The theme would seem to be easy to intergrate and he was everywhere in the mid 90s.
Pretty certain if you lift the aprons on any of the sega games then he’s drawn there.

I think it’s a great theme also at the minute. Two very successful films and retro gaming being very popular, I think this could be their most successful game to date.

Sonic was pictured on the flipper links for Sega games, in a raised outline as I recall. Just out of curiosity, what was the companion 'sprite', who wore red, called?

The Sonic IP is probably more expensive now than in previous years due to the new films. Good luck to them, I hope it sees a release.

AP should have kept this quiet done all the deals needed to make this a reality behind closed doors and then announced when it was ready to sell.

All that happens now is Stern either block them out of the licence or drop a movie based pin to flex their muscle and on location that wins.

If they did surely they would have made this announcement a mic drop moment by saying so? Then again it is AP and their licensing and marketing is hardly cutting edge so you could be right.

If they use his game it probably will be rethemed like Keith's first game for Stern. Wasn't that designed as 'Archer'?

I would imagine Sonic would be an expensive license to get. American Pinball hardly have 'A' list game themes.

I’ve thought about an MK pin a lot, I would have the fatalities as unique combo shots for each character (like the code needed in the games) finishing with a scoop shot so you get to watch the gore on the lcd.

I would have realm multiballs so outworld multiball, earthrealm multiball.

Basically MK would be Deadpool on steroids!
