I have been bashing the holy cr*p out of bugs on Starship Troopers the last couple of days

I LOVE this game ....... I seriously think it is one of the best film/pin adaptations out there.

Strangely enough, I am loving Lethal Weapon right now. It's just fast and fun. I've even demoted White Water to the garage just so that I could fit the LW3 in the house!
 
Whirlwind. ****ing love it. Just doesn't get old for me! In fact if it's system11 I just love it at the moment.
 
Dean I can't believe wh20 is in the gay rage in favour of Lw3!! But I hear Lw3 is a great game

LOL. It surprised me too but it's got me hooked! I've barely looked at the WH20 since picking this up.
 
Everybody rips on the OK OK OK but it doesn't bother me at all.

****es the Wife off though as I now keep saying it at any oppertunity.



Great game. Reminded me of how much I love Data East games.
 
Only played a few Data East's (JP, R&B, SW, TA) , good games but the jazzed up music gets a bit annoying to me.



Trying to batter Tron at the minute. Loving it, fast and flowing but pretty tough to get through !
 
The audio from those Data East game's sure does stick with you for ages.

Once played defo can't get that tune (or phrase) out of my head for ages.

I wonder if they where designed with that in mind ?

Mine is on it's back behind the MAME cab but I might have to rectify that soon. STTNG for me....it's the only thing that's setup to play and not in bits!
 
Thats my problem, everything is in bits. And whats not, all the bits are blocking them so you can't play owt.

Same here been trying just to make it to klendathu but I can only just make it to planet p

Then move onto pinball magic or should I say drain magic tonight
 
I have been destroying Monster Bash everytime i play it!! desperatly need to toughen it up, its just boring at the minute. Farfalla however, is keeping me coming back like a Junkie chasing that last fix!! I love that game, it might just see out the year!

Back on topic, I've just fixed the issues on South Park so that's fully functional and it'll be getting a good hammering on Friday night.

Yep - its a tough nut to crack. I have only made it to Planet P once

Have been on quite good form recently (if I may say so) and managed a tasty 12B in tourney mode just before the EPC but ended up being a damp squib when playing in the modern section in Madrid.

Oh and Tron still attracts my attention if only coz I haven't reached portal...!

LOTR was getting hammered since I fitted the uprated flipper coils. I'll have to steepen the playfield and open the outlanes fully. It's not getting much play since Tron arrived though, along with the rest of my games.



What a tough and relentless game Tron is! Getting my **** kicked by that game all the time now. Haven't got anywhere near Portal either!

Same here ! Was only one blue disc away from completing disc multiball after all other modes completed last night, only for my last ball to drain away...... :mad: Portal was sooooo close.
 
Got to portal quite a few times now, but can never complete it. Mastered the gem shot now too so games always progress nicely for me, but what really floats my boat with this game is the combo linking to stackable multiballs. I dare anyone with a heartbeat not to sh*t their pants with joy should they ever hit a 6+ combo then start quorra multi whilst also starting light cycle multi. The sequence that follows blows me away everytime.



So yeah, just playing tron...constantly....
 
I'm playing lots of AFM at the minute, determined to rule the universe one of these days. Once I had all the blue lights except conquer Mars, but that's the closest I've got.



Focussing all my efforts on knocking down those saucers nowadays as I think that's the hardest bit of RTU.

Dan, drop the 3 bank target and start multiball, its the best way to get the saucers done without draining your last ball!

There isn't ...the sooner you accept that soldier, the happier you will be. Now go play some pinball :cool:



 
GrizZ, for someone who is actually very laid back, you do enjoy death, destruction, war and explosions a lot.

If you are cured Dreads, you just open yourself to another affliction. Pinball is relatively safe in my opinion.
 
Been lucky enough to have had a loan of ACDC pro this week - thanks eric, been totally hammering it big time, great machine & can only imagine how good the Le is..

Eric took it away tonight and now I am sad :-(
