For Sale Simpsons data east

So as my last post selling a pinball has had so many negative comments what would you offer on this one?

Data East simpsons pinball machine

Fully re stored back to a very high standard ( i have attached a befor picture as well to show just how much work and time has gone into this re store)

For sale is a simpsons pinball

It has the original back glass still in.

Cabinet has been striped filled re glued and new decals applied

all steel work has been re powdercoated playfield striped waxed new rubbers balls etc and a new flipper rebuild kit
All new led lights and cooling towers mod installed come with old plastics as new ones installed with plastic topper
Has keys but no manual, but a pdf can be found online
Hardly any wear on the playfield either
I can get pictures of the inside boreds as well

Looking for around £4000 but I am open to offers as well

I do have a price in mind of what i would like but seeing what you all think.

As @JAG555 has said- this needs moved to the ‘Whats it worth thread’ Cosmetically looks great- nice work. Price wise, your bog standard players condition DE Simpsons seems to fetch about £2k ish. I can’t remember seeing a refurbed one so maybe £3k ish (possibly more if selling on EBay to a Simpsons fan )

£3000 in this condition if you have someone after a nice one, normally a £2000 to £2500 pinball.

I don’t like the colour theme but that’s my preference, it may appeal to others

Rules state it must have a price if in the “For Sale”, move to “What’s it worth” you may get an offer you are happy with

Sorry - but no.

The reason for wanting a price is because this isnt ebay... it's not an auction site, else there would probably be more bickering than there is already..

If you have a price in mind, I'm happy to add it for you, though it is fairly easy - Edit the original post, put the price in, and then save it.

I nearly bought this off eBay. Can't remember what happened if I was outbid or seller changed his mind. Whatever.

About 1800 was the price. Sure seller has spent some on it. I would guess 1000-1200. So would think 3000 total and a fair price. I assume seller looking for an extra 1500 for his time on it.
I never think time adds value to a machine. Do it for the love of pinball. Making it pay is going to be tough.

Maybe someone will really like it. I don't find the wrong colour scheme to my taste. But best of luck to him.

DE Simpsons come up a fair bit... Top tip, type in the name of the machine you're looking for. Click the filter tab, click the more tab. Then select 'Sold' it will show you what they went for. That's if the sale closed on eBay. A lot of sales that are a 'cash' mysteriously never seem to complete and the seller ends up not paying eBay any commission... Funny that.

Playfields deteriorated more on Simpson’s / Batman and Hook, LW3 and Star Wars didn’t have the same issue for reasons unknown. Outlanes and ball return areas are often flaked paint

Data east added stealth coat from star trek I believe. This was in direct response to williams diamond coat.
