ok so im 70 games in on my Elvira and im thinking the bloody front door ramp is doing my head in so out with my snips and cut a bit off the metal pins holding the gargoyles on, great thats that sorted then im thinking im sure the gargoyles are suposed to jump up more than 10mm so i pushed and pulled them, put a bit more grease on them pushed and pulled a bit more and really got nowhere. so then im thinking what holds these things in place under playfield low and behold 2 big lumps of foam and a zip tie holding them all together so now i have super jumpy gargoyles . so the moral of the story is when it says in the instructions to remove the foam remove the damn foam and it will work as it should.

:excited:excited:excited:excited

You not the 1st I tracked down a yr old Elvira for my neighbour and it too had the foam still underneath.
I also bought a pin with my protectors already fitted and they had not removed the plastic film off them before fitting.
Maybe I should mark em peel me 🤔

They left the film on to protect the protectors protecting the original plastics :D
