Hey,

Looking at shipping a pin to France as had a good offer on one of mine. Can anyone advise on best way to do this? Will the pin be fine just being wrapped on a pallet?

Thanks

Rich

By all means wrap it well and put it on a pallet, but given likely customs issues and possible damage, if it was me I'd sort the price, get the buyer to pay and make it their responsibility to arrange and pay for shipping. Even if you sort it out, make them pay the shipping company and accept the responsibility for the shipping so that once it leaves your place, your job is done.

Be aware that lots of deliveries are being signed for by the shipping company and not recipient and this creates a very grey area in terms of "Proof of Delivery".

I've got one at the moment where Postman signed it "CV19" with buyers Surname, GPS logged at buyer's address but they say they haven't got it.

Royal Mail consider it delivered and it is looking like eBay/Paypal will take their side and refund, despite the fact I have signed POD!
