Didn’t want to call anyone out specifically, as I don’t know if the machines changed hands, but is it just me or are we seeing a lot more ‘‘non-Site Supporters’ replying to wanted posts or dropping ‘subtle‘ hints that they have a certain machine they ‘might’ sell.

I noticed the odd one or two before, but I have seen it a lot more lately.

Surely isn‘t too much to ask to pop £10 in to support the site if you are going to sell a machine on here.

Anyway, just my 10 cents, didn’t know if anyone else had noticed it?

Probably since the pay-to-list policy. I kind of took it that donations then became optional, and i think that's perfectly reasonable.

I wonder if Paul would disclose if that move helped covering costs more or less?

I am not saying everyone is doing it deliberately to avoid paying, some might not know. I have just noticed it a lot more lately.

Agree that subtle hints of 'I might sell' should be a site supporter, or become one after selling but if replying to a wanted ad, I think the person who places the wanted ad should be a supporter and they should make a donation if their wanted ad is successful. I think it's ok to reply to a wanted ad if you're not a site supporter. Not sure on the official rules but that makes sense to me, person who places the ad, buyer or seller should donate.

Yeah, that is a good point actually.
