Hi everyone,

I'm not sure as best etiquette or place to post. I hope this is ok.

I have a Williams teachers pet that currently uses UK 10p coins. I wonder if it's possible to replace the coin mech to use modern 50p, 20p, 10p, £1.
Would it be an easy swop or would it require a rewire etc? It's running on 240v uk

I had a search but didn't see anything that was helpful. Perhaps I'm not searching correctly.
Please let me know if anymore information would be useful.

Kind regards,

Robert

As Chris said

Buy a S/H coin mech that meets your requirements and swap it out

The wiring is basic stuff

Coin mechs are generic not specific to a machine normally might need cosmetics but I don’t think so

It looks like the mech just clips in at the top
The only thing you MIGHT need to swap over is the mounting hardware on each corner
