mine needs replacing as it has a big ugly lip on it that sprays the ball randomly, and a new one is £48-60, so if anyone has one they could part with for less than that, i'm interested!

Spend 4k on a machine, scrimp and save instead of just buying a £60 scoop????

I came to the same conclusion and bought the one with slotted screw holes
