I have noticed on my SS that if you have more balls locked in the coffin than you require (ie two player game, player one has two locked, player two then locks his first ball), it is possible to cheat and create a multiball.

In this scenario, if the second player can catch the ball ejected by the coffin, then wait without triggering any switches, the machine assumes that no ball has been ejected. It then spits put a second ball so you can get a "cheat" multiball.

Is this a fault ? Are there better roms to deal with this. I am on 1.5

Thanks

Thanks for the responses.

The inlane switch works about 19 times out of 20, so I do not think this is it. Occasionally the ball must bounce over it, as it is impossible not to trigger the switch if the ball is rolling down the playfield

If you have balls locked in the coffin from player one, and płayer two catches the first ejected ball, the game fires out a second from the coffin. If you catch this it will even fire the third ball out of the coffin. It then plays as if it is single ball play. When the first ball drains, play continues. Play continues until all balls have drained

Hi. There is a coffin test mode. The four optos all work (entrance, ball1', ball 2, ball3)

No exit switch unfortunately, save the inlane switch that is triggered when the ball leaves the coffin then falls off the relevant ramp

At least 19 out of 20. So for it to fail on the eject of two balls from the coffin is extremely unlikely. The coffin always spits out a third ball if you catch the first two

If I remember correctly when I had my SS I'm positive I read somewhere that the rollover switches used on this game
were prone to not registering every time, cannot remember where or what the cure was, but I do know that my machine
used to miss the occasional rollover especially on the lower in lanes.
