Scared Stiff bug/easter egg?

Noticed a weird thing on SS at the last Midlands meet at @DRD 's ..

Collected the spider award and the DMD animation, which tells you to look at the translite, had the crawling spider replaced with a digit '3', snaking it's way up the screen.

Anyone seen this or similar before?

It’s an Easter egg, press start 3 times for something - can’t remember what either an animation or an extra spin I think
