A question to the seasoned pinball sellers. How do let your pins go? Sold my Spider-Man last week and it’s being collect on a fortnight.

Now I’m not backing out of the sale or anything but I’m going to be genuinely sad to see it go. Is it just because it’s my first pin it’s particularly hard?

I’m focusing on the fact I’m getting an awesome replacement but going to miss this flow monster.

It is hard, especially your first, but you can always get them back and there are so many great games!

I don't really think about it as you can always get it back and there's plenty of new ones to try out. I generally only sell the ones I don't want to keep anyway 👍

Ask the buyer for a buy back option, giving you first dibs when he or she comes to move it on. That way you will be reunited once again.

Last guy I had this agreement with sold it to someone else without a word to me. Absolutely shocking form! You live you learn

OP I always have I sell to buy so I've gone through a lot of pins in my short pinball career. I have missed one or two but overall the new game coming in freshening things up totally allays any regrets. Plus your new game is EPIC

On a pinball note I’ve Never a regret selling a pin ever and had some stunners, even my beautiful minty TAFG I got from Germany which a pinfo member still has to this day.
Too many good pins getting released to dwell on nostalgia for me and the longer I get in the tooth the more I’ve come to realise there is absolutely no such thing as a keeper.

never had a problem with selling my first pin as i`ve still got it🤣 but seriously over 20 years in the hobby i have sold a game then years later bought another one ,either to upgrade in condition or i missed it, 6 of my current collection i`ve had before

Yeah, hate selling things, I get attached.
Also, I have friends that haven’t visited since I acquired my pins.
I would hate to say, “I used to have an ACDC or Tron, but I moved them on”.
I know they would say, damn, I would have loved to have seen/ played that.
Then I would feel awful.
