Just wondering how long you guys had to wait for your first pin? It’s an expensive hobby to get into and I’ve been saving my spare money for almost a year now. (Around £3500 now). Bribed the missus with a hot tub and set a space in our garage conversion. I think (hope) I have a pin lined up which will be come available soon so so wait is almost over! Martin only comes to Scotland every 6 weeks or so but what’s 6 weeks when you’ve waited 12 months! haha

Wow that’s dedication! Your pinball has already cost you a hot tub!
Your going to have to tell us what you’ve got incoming?
Mine was a Star Wars Data east cost about £1000 (it was a few years ago now, sold it a couple of years later for about £950?, should have kept hold of it) for me it was about (and still is) “space” for a machine, should have never extended the kitchen into the games room?

Haha to be fair Tony I quite like the hot tub too so it wasn’t a selfless purchase [emoji23]

Yeah space is the issue for everyone by the sounds of it! We have a new build house so it isn’t the biggest dimensions wise. Is it weird that I dream of having a basement like all those houses have in America!?

I think Spider-Man, the youngest (5) loves doc oc. He plays with his doc of Lego figure constantly [emoji223] [emoji16]

My first pin was a “Beat the Clock” came from a cafe in Melton Mowbray around 1991. Cost £30 not working and the owner said I’ve lost the keys. Got it home, drilled out the lock and the cash box had just over £33 in it.

Please tell me it was a fuse too

£3500 is quite healthy - however there is not a lot around at the moment actually for sale.

I have some money in a drawer at the moment as I am pinless as well. But as I spend quite a few days a week fixing pinballs I am not that desperate.

Good luck Sir !

My dilemma is literally trying to get rid of the hot tub out of the conservatory and sold so I can get the pinball machine out of the garage before it gets eaten by rats! Hot tubs and pinball machines are a bad combination.

Haha well hot tub is in the garden so I’m in the clear! [emoji23]
