Hi, I know I haven’t posted on here much lately but I’ve sold 20+ pins on here over the years. Is anyone able to reinstate my privileges to start a thread in the Sale section please?

Thanks

This happened to me the other day Paul how long does your privileges last as I have donated over a thousand over the years

12 months. (To be honest i dont think £10 minimum for 12 months is going to break the bank for anyone selling high end machines worth £1000+ - Not pointed to yourself Chris at all as you have always been a massive supporter of the site).

This is how it works...

User wants to post in either of the Parts/Machines for sale.
User pays subscription £10 to become a site supporter.
User sells AS MANY TIMES AS THEY WANT over the next 12 months (No limitations).
If (as per the suggestions) someone donates at the end of selling an item, this will then extend for another 12 months from that date (It's a rolling 12 months)... so for those that sell reguarly, and are happy to donate on a sale, there's actually no additional cost above the initial donation.

So for someone like yourself Chris - someone who is an active supporter - it will make very little (if any) difference. For someone that sells one machine it will cost £10 minimum to subscribe, plus any volentary donation post sale, if they choose to do so.

I am looking to implement something for those that are "legacy" members and that have donated a significant amount over the years... the problem is that I dont have weeks to dig through years of old data - indeed if i have it... so any suggestions welcomed.

Im happy to scrap the lot and charge a per-sale percentage (when the new system comes in), however imo that would kill any sales on here since it turns the place into Ebay...

I think it works as it is now, I tend to do a tenner each time I sell, which for me ensures I am a supporter for a year at all times :P

It’s wasn’t a complaint Paul and it’s no big deal I just paid £10 I don’t tend to pay in odds and sods normally do £200 or so every few months
I am looking forward to the new classified sales at the end of the day it costs what it costs
