On my Roadshow, I had a broken plastic that sits on top of the Dozer lift in front of Ted's face. Looking around it looks like you can only buy this in a set for some ridiculous price, so I thought about recreating it and 3D printing it. Weirdly I have seen different types of this plastic on machines, some are even yellow.

After many designs, tests, scans, drawings and prints, I finally have the plastic the right size and shape in two variations - a clear PLA and a grey version. See them below. Next, I need to drill holes where it's fixed to the dozer, and then I'll decide whether I want it clear, whether I create some decals or whether I spray it yellow. The plastics look a bit rough in the image as it's quite a close up, but once sprayed or recalled they'll be fine I'm sure. Great thing about PLA is it's pretty tough stuff.

Let me know what you think...

This is the RS I had on loan - I didn’t try to disassemble it but assumed it was all just one piece rather than having a removable plastic.

Mine has a piece of clear plastic screwed into the top. I think the dozer blade came in two variations
