Need to replace a few plastics with rivets. What’s the best sort to go for? I know there usually a rivet press. Wondered if anyone had used a normal riveter before. Want to try and get one ASAP, either amazon or locally if screwfix or a like did anything
Thanks

Don’t know if this will do the job your looking for but I brought one of these last week
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/132825758106 to rivet some models to plastic on my BM66 and it worked a treat.

Nice one thanks. Actually found one at euro car parts very similar to late for £6. Will do that for now just so I can get this plastic back on. But I will even in the domed type and a press for ramps etc, seem to have a nice finish without the hole

I have tried the hand rivet ones and it didn’t last long before it fell apart. Moose made me a more substantial clamp press but I never used it in anger before I move from pin to house restoration (what a fool).
