Sad news, apparently he suffered another stroke a few days ago and didn’t make it.

Many of you on here will remember spadge’s heavily modded games.
Gamers will remember Worms.

Even after his first stroke several years ago, he just tried to carry on as normal, modding pinballs and video games so he could play one handed. He also traveled all over the world post-stroke working and consulting in the games industry still.

Last time I saw him we had a mega night out on the beer around Leeds and a curry to finish off. I was well gone by the end.

He was a serious beer monster! RIP m8

Sad to hear the news. I was a huge Amiga nerd so I'm not ashamed to admit I went a bit into fanboy mode when I realised it was THAT Martyn Brown who had started posting on this forum.

Bought an AC/DC Luci off him ages ago, it was immaculate. Also had a good evening over at Nik’s with Martyn & Alan. His influence will live on.

I bought my TWD LE from Martyn. In his pinball collecting prime before his stroke all his machines were the very best. Quite a shock when I heard. His mother died last year. Very sad. RIP.

Just heard about this today from the arcade club guys. Gutted Was a top guy and massive respect for him modding arcade cabs so he could still play one handed. Feel fortunate that i knew him and helped him keep many of them going over the years. Always loved hearing the team17 stories to. RIP
