Hey all , are Retro refurbs on here ?? Anyone used them before ?
Need some silver T moulding and RFM Decals

Cheers

Cheers James .... after posting this @Matt Adams said he has had stuff of him before as well and it’s all good have emailed 👍
I need 20 feet of silver T moulding as well ASAP so hoping I can get that

Yes, that's me and Retro Refurbs are on here. Kind of. :p

While I make decals for my own use on my own games and restorations, I do not sell any Bally Williams products. So I can't offer you the RFM decals. Anything else you may be interested in can be bought directly on the website - https://www.retrorefurbs.com - we also do custom prints of anything you might want, including virtual pinball artwork. There is a link to custom printing in the Virtual Pinball category.

I buy all of my T-Molding from Arcade World UK. Here's a link to the chrome one - https://www.arcadeworlduk.com/products/Chrome-3-Quarter-Inch-T-Molding.html

Thanks ever so much Pete :)
It was the blades I was after Matt has the cab decals already .... have just ordered them ( they look very cool ) and thanks for the info on the T moulding I have ordered that as well .... just hoping they get to him soonish as he is moaning that I leave everything to the last minute , he has only had it for 8 months I can’t see the issue 😂😝

Cheers
Will

Absolutely :)
I have some wiring loom thingy here for a shaker motor as well from Jim , I need to get that over to Matt as well 🤦🏻‍♂️
Awesome !! Having that shaker in there as well really does make the difference and if you wanted to be a ..... You can set the flippers up to be on drunk mode and don't tell anyone :p

I would like to point out that this game has been in my ownership for longer than any other game I have ever owned .... I bought it from @Pick Holder in October 2018 so it’s the true definition of a keeper 😁😁

how many games have you played on it Wez sorry Will

That's nothing. I've got a restoration here for a customer which is going on for 3 years. I keep edging towards the finishing line and hope to get it finished before it turns to 4 years. :p

That's nothing... Just ask the SWL regulars about Haunted House... They've only seen it set up in the corner in unit 5... however it was also in unit 6 and I originally started collecting bits for it in 2008...

Thanks @PeteB for the Jurassic Park art blades, fitted them this morning. I've had the BM66 blades off you previously so I know they are great quality, very durable and survive any cack-handed install attempts.

I don't mod my games much but side art is something I'll always want, it just finishes the look of the game off.

Just installed my JD blades and not much room for maneuver which led to some very cackhanded repositioning and they survived and look great! Cheers @PeteB

Yeh, I got a kink in one of mine in the awkward middle bit but after repositioning there is no sign of it. Lesser materials would have either left a permanent crease or even teared.

Thank you for the nice comments and sharing your photos, the game looks fantastic!

Any kinks or creases can be solved using the heat gun (or hair dryer) method as the Side Blades are made on the same material as my cabinet decals, only with a harder coating. See demonstration of creased decals here on YouTube.

Gents,
Can anyone confirm, if this T-modding is the same fit that can say for instance replace the T-Molding on a Wooden back box Stern SAM?
Thanks in advance.

Any game, whether it be a pinball machine, video game, or jukebox which is made from 18mm plywood will use 3/4 inch T-Modling. So yes. :)

Also, since this topic isn't strictly about SideBlades, some may be interested to know we have a lot of new products coming in early June - we've been busy over lockdown. So there'll be a whole new range of Toppers for about 40 games - nice subtle ones, not the massively oversized goofy crap other people make, some new plastic sets for a few different games, backglasses, and a couple of other exciting things I've been told to keep my big mouth shut about.

Thanks for your support and as always if you want a little discount then send me a private message on here - the code changes regularly to stop people on other forums sharing it.
