I am selling my beautiful Addams Family machine:

* Second owner since full restoration by AJ Pinball
* NOS playfield (stamped 24 July 1997) in immaculate condition, absolutely no wear on mansion, chair scoop or shooter lane (or anywhere else)
* Re-decalled cabinet with no wear around flipper buttons - one small slit on front, presumably to remove a bubble
* Backbox has been resprayed and stencilled
* Polished chrome (?) side rails, lockdown bar and legs
* New LED colorDMD display
* Invisiglass (no marks or scratches)
* Power board recently fully checked and repaired so no 5V resets! (Capacitors C2/C4, Bridge BR2, Headers J101/J102/J114, Transistors Q81/Q82 all replaced; LM323K replaced with modern equivalent)
* Batteries are off board
* Black topper
* Immaculate coin door - coin mech included but untested (says new 10p and 50p)
* New custom lit apron (uses Comet Matrix LEDs so easily extended/maintained)
* New lit blue flipper buttons (again uses Comet Matrix LEDs)
* All other GI and playfield lighting is incandescent bulbs
* Rubbers throughout (not silicone!)
* Uncle Fester mod with glowing wires
* Train mod with lights
* Levelled bookcase turntable (original shim to adjust)
* Original operations manual and wiring schematic manual
* Coin tray
* Addams Family keyring
* Fully working 100% with no issues

This is the nicest machine I've ever owned (my second TAF) but I feel like I've done it all now and I am finding it a bit too easy... plus my wife doesn't like the way I look at it

Stunning machine this , played it at Marks a few weeks ago, the playfield looks like new and plays like a new game. GLWS

11 grand stunning?

Well time will tell, the only thing guaranteed with selling a pin is that someone will comment on the price when you try to sell it on here…! 🙂

I am aware of 3 confirmed UK TAF sales in the last 6 months or so:

- £9.something.k average one at auction
- £10k quite nice one on eBay
- £10.5k very nice one on UK TAF FB

Is mine nicer than all of those? Definitely. Is it £500-1500 nicer? Yes I would say at least that much.

Full restoration from PH is £17k for example. Maybe mine is underpriced based on all those! 😇

It's a fair price for a tip top Adams, which yours is

They can go for more under the table away from us price 👮‍♂️👮‍♀️👮‍♀️👮‍♀️👮👮🚔🚨

😃

A rot box Adams is £4 to £5k, then add at least £2k to get it acceptable, more with a playfield swap, that's excluding labour, so if you bought a 💩 one by the time you get it good it's your price.

There always been a debate that Adams because there where so many why is it so expensive still. There no logic to it, it is what it is. People who bought them in the 2000's early 2010 will never get that the price they used to be doesn't and I strongly doubt will never exist again.

Good luck with the sale, someone will want it. It looks to be a very nice example.

Wow a AJ pinball that’s a blast from the past
Lovely machine and good luck with your sale …..But why are the two machines set to low back legs should be nearly to the top to get the true feel of the machines ?

Oh yes I had forgotten the back legs were low… it threw me when I first set it up and levelled it (~6.7 degrees IIRC), but I don’t have another Bally Williams for comparison so assumed they must be low? I meant to look it up but forgot once it was all set up nicely.

Maria and I have just came back from Mark’s place, thanks for inviting us! Even if I was writing this in Spanish I’d still struggle to find the words to describe how beautiful this TAF is. I looked at it for a good while, but I only played one game on it because it felt like when you get a new car and it looks so stunning that you kind of want it to stay new forever.

Adam (AJ Pinball) does absolutely amazing restorations. He’s worked on several machines for me, and each one has turned out stunning.
