Does anyone know how to remove and/ or replace these pls ?

This daft arrangement is next to both main flippers so will inevitably fail. Both of mine have failed. I have a new plastic set, but the replacement parts just have normal sized holes drilled in.

One option is to snap this plastic out. Grind down the most of metal part this sits within the old plastic with a dremel, so you effectively remove nearly all the rivet part, and return to the machine with a screw and washer on top. But this seems rather brutal

Thank you

I've never tried myself, but the two techniques I've read are ...

1) stick a soldering iron up the large opening to soften the plastic. Apparently the same technique when refitting to the new plastic.
Might be worth trying some different size test holes in the old plastic before risking the new.

2) sharp drill to remove the riveted top. Refit with washer on new plastic and either bolt through /screw into playfield.
