What generally is your guys approach for older games which have picked up dings etc on the plastics? Do you have to replace them all at once and generally how do you source / go about it?
If there's lots of broken or damaged plastics on a new arrival I'm fixing up I'll buy an entire plastics set.
Then if one happens to break (WCS suffered a broken plastic at Pinfest), depending where it is I'll just leave it for a while. Then either find or purchase a spare.
Eg.I've repaired plastics that aren't as obvious. If a slingshot plastic properly broke I'd have to replace it as it's front and center. If it's just got a bit of damage on a corner I'll get round to it.
The availability and cost of replacements has an impact too
Thanks david cool. Any advice for where the sets would come from? And can you get one specific plastic made up or usually better to get a whole set? Game is metallica
Not sure if anywhere like pinball life do them, Mel from @1stoppinball does regular group buys from Pinball Life so you dont have to mess about with international postage and VAT etc.
