Anyone got any recommendations for log cabin/garden room suppliers? I'm hopefully moving house in the next few months and have space for a garden games room so wondering what people have gone with as there seems to be loads of them and I'm not sure who's decent. Currently looking at ones supplied by Waltons having gone by some reviews but open to suggestions.

I can go to a max of 3m deep by 6m wide and it's going to be close (inside 1m) to a couple of neighbours boundaries so assuming I need some sort of fire protection on those walls and the roof can't be higher than 2.5m? I also want this fully installing inc base etc as I won't have the spare time for a project this big at the moment.

The problem you will have with a ready made solution is your internal height if you are looking to use it for Pinball machines. I ended up getting my cabin custom made by a local chippie (also had to sort planning as it was next to boundary and above 2.5mtr 😒)

@ronsplooter

Waltons is 10 mins drive from me. Pop by if you visit the firm.

Also, there are really good sausages to be had in that village from the shop opposite the Nelson pub on Main St

@Paul would you recommend your supplier in the end?

ok... so i used Totalsheds.co.uk on the first two builds. Good if you pay a reasonable amount of money, however their cheap sheds are just that - cheap.

Last lot i used were a bunch called shedology (https://www.facebook.com/shedologyuk/). Comms isn't great as it seems to be more of a one man band, however if you can put up with that and be a little patient their buildings are actually really good...!! 1" flooring and 19mm T&G walls as standard with 3x2 beams.. I requested some changes on the windows (2 larger rather than 6 smaller), and 6'6" Eaves height (with the whole thing coming in spot on 2.5m!). Prices include free Delivery and erection (as long as the access is clear).... John is the guy there... Just tell him that the pinball guy from Bristol sent you :D

I'll post some fresh pics on my workshop build since have just taken some new ones...

I have ordered this https://www.tuin.co.uk/Aiste-Log-Cabin-5-x-3m.html

But got it £300 cheaper, for the spec it was a no brainer compared to others on price. But would have to built and insulate by yourself as it's a kit

Watch out for water leaks on the interlocking corners.... They are prone to letting water in due to the way they lock together (not my advice - just read a good few times from others).... Nice 40mm thick walls...
Which floor did you pick??

I read about that also Paul, these are cut so the corner join is countersunk to prevent wind and leaks!

I have not ordered a floor with it but plan to use 18mm osb on top of 25mm kingspan and the vinyl click flooring
