These came for my fathom today. These are the "genuine licensed" ones with the hologram on the packet.

I think they are pretty good, and are miles better than having broken or missing ones. They are not as high resolution as the originals, but I don't believe you would notice unless really staring

The original one is on the right. Look at the octopus' eye ...

apparently there is a way to turn them stained plastics to clear plastics again !!
some type of stuff put in a bag and left outside in the sun, so says my lad !
 
Funnily enough I was just looking at a way to get my cable clips back to white as they've gone yellow over the years. Looks like this might actually do the job.

Then just stick it out in sunlight or, for extra speediness, invest in a UV light and stick it under that.

Might have a go at it actually as i've got loads of spare cable clips. Or maybe it's a step too far and i'm being waaaay too nerdy and obsessive.
