POTC Stern

Hi quick question if I may . I’ve just had a games room built and decided among other things to get a pinball machine, in hindsight I rushed in too quickly and bought a POTC Stern from one of the 3/4 companies in the UK that do the complete leisure stuff. Really enjoying owning it and playing it over the last few but Ive already ordered a JP prem and when that arrives in a few months I may look to move POTC on, I know I’m going to lose a fair few quid on what I paid for it but wondered if I was selling on this platform if I would realistically get £4.5-£5k for it? I’m also aware that people like me coming into the pinball market with a few quid are one of the reasons for inflated prices, so apologies!

If you post good quality pictures, especially with the glass off you will get a better quality valuation.

Thanks for reply, that would be a big hit! It is in perfect working order, would have it serviced by Martin at go pinball before I moved it on. However there’s a chance I might keep and collect more , it’s very addictive!

Lol, there are very few of us can resist and stay at one. They tend to multiply

3.5k is probably about right. I sold mine pre pandemic with a colordmd for 3k.

If you’re worried about the hit then stick it up for trade. Get another game, enjoy it, trade it again. Keep repeating and before long you’ll have no real feel for how much you paid for your current game.

I sold mine in October 2020 for £3300 including Color DMD, but of course prices have gone crazy since then, so think you should get around 4k for a nice one now.

POTC is a reasonable game. I'm sure someone would be up for a trade for a similar valued game. Something like AC/DC, Avatar, Batman, Family Guy, Spiderman, Transformers, Rolling Stones, Big Buck Hunter etc.

Maybe even a Tron or Iron Man?
