Calimori did most of the work on this - we drilled into the head of a cheap wolfman toy i got on ebay, inserted some green LEDs, wired them in series with a suitable resistor, and connected it up to the flashers in the orbit that come on during the Wolfman Full Moon Fever mode.

ok so i know the wires need tucking away and that he's currently help on with some godawful-looking sticky foam, but i can adjust those, and it works, look:

It can be unclipped in seconds and brings the owner some happiness, unlike you Multiballs.

i sort of see multiballparadise's point, in that MB is already toy overdose, but it was a little mean-spirited, as all i wanted was to display my pride and joy at a successful bit of fun ...... how about a little constructive criticism instead? maybe a different colour (yellow was my aim but we were out of yellow), maybe a different brightness, maybe a different location? best way to mount the little toy so he doesn't move but is easily removed - blu-tac?

Geoff is way cleverer at me at this electronics malarkey, so i'll let him explain how it was wired together. I'll steal one bit of his fire though -the resistor we worked out like this:

source voltage = 12.8V (at flasher)

LED voltage = 3.2 - 3.8V

voltage difference to be dissipated = 12.8 - approx 3.5 = approx 9V

LED current = 20mA

R=V/I = 9/0.02 = 450ohm

so we used the closest we had, a 470 ohm resistor

Great job, Its your pride and joy and if you want a extra figure then go for it.

Looks like Dreads has some competition.:suspect:
