Ok, they seem cheap, brittle and tacky, however I have a split in a ramp that i need to repair (and that is unobtanium...

The Ramp is cracked, and because of slight stresses on the corner (bad design) need to be patched and re-enforced. If slightly twisted, it opens the crack on the corner, and this seems how it sits on the PF.
I'd really like to have another made, however guessing that costs would be silly for a bit of plastic, and i could do without the hassle of creating another!

Anyone any advice of suggestions for what i can use, or how to go about doing it??

Thx

Egaweld.... as i said in there - it's not the same nowadays as it was AFAIK - plus the corner is under that much strain that im not sure if it would work... There is plastex (http://www.plastex.net/), however not sure if anyone here has actually tried it!

There's plenty of clear fibreglass resin on the market ( according to google! ) that may do the job if brushed on and built up in layers. Of course I haven't tried it so you would be a guinea pig, could always test on an old discarded ramp first.

Had a similar issue with my Arena ramp. Clear epoxy resin spread over the crack kinda sealed it but still had to make a custom metal ramp protector to avoid it getting worse.

I have found goop great for pin repairs, sets and looks when set liek silicon selaant but is tuff and flexible, albeint looks a bit naff

On Frank N Pin ALL two ramp entrances either side were completely mullered beyond normal life, past the grave, and waay into the afterlife they were so bad.
But variosu ramp protectors from various machines helped it look ok.
as it turned out all well and good,as,in the end,the game was made from about 15 different games so all fitting in with genral theme!!
IE cabinet and display form Gold Wings, speaker grill from BSD,lamp board from WW,popper boards from other games, legs from two different games, cpu board from another French game, driver from other from my spares,JN coin door, etc etc:eek:
