Just checking as I've seen something the opposite of what I've setup but the pitch here is right right? :)

pitch/slope is down to personal preference depending on how 'fast' you want the game to play. might be wrong but think average/recommended is 6.5 degrees which is probably top of bubble being 1 line/mark above thick black centre line. (is yours just on centre mark?)

have seen somewhere that you can get a phone app but not sure how accurate it is?

I took mine off one table to check another that didn't have a spirit level, when I put it back the amount you screw it back in has huge effect on where the bubble sits. Visibly the spirit level sat flush against the bracket, but tightening/loosening the screws made the bubble move quite a lot. As above, it is a personal preference. If you feel it is too fast/slow then adjust your slope.

Thanks - I think it was too high compared to the two others I'd played - well that's why my score sucks on my own table ;)

Hi, Neil,

An information page was included with the manuals for games with the level fitted, on which an illustration showed the bubble exactly as in your picture. AIR, it mentioned that each line marked a 1/2 degree of change.
Some older games had a circular overall pitch/levelling bubble (like on old-fashioned Post Office scales) fitted in a rebated depression under the card holder, visible with the l/h card removed.

But, as already stated, pitch really is up/down (excuse pun) to personal preference.
