It's reasonably easy to get yourself mixed up in pinball collecting, grab what's on offer and enjoy, but sometimes it's nice to get machines that look good together.

My first pair were DE Time Machine and DE Star Wars, they didn't really "go" together. I always felt Star Wars needed to be next to Jurassic Park and Batman, that wasn't going to happen.

I then had Black Knight 2000 and Time Machine, with back bodies and Mirrored back glass, not a bad pairing....

Then sold Time Machine and got a Revenge from Mars, the colours looked ace but asthetically .... Ok. A bit like little and large, it worked but a bit awkward.

Then I did the Bally Midway thing, they matched, they were from the same era.

Finally I have Black Knight 2000 next to Sorcerer (with dog underneath) and that feels like a great match. The Sorcerer back box is massive, and makes BK2K look tiny, but I'll ignore that for now.

Obviously you can put similar age and same generation machines together, but are there pairs or trios out there that just work well asthetically in a line up?

Seeing @Fubar with a Getaway and a TNA, that's a good match up with the topper light.

Having all Elvira pins or all Black knights is a given.

Genuinely interested in any odd match ups out there 😁

I seem to recall @AlanJ sharing pics of his pre-DMD lineup before and it looked really nice together - I can't remember specifically what they all were though - maybe he can add it

I personally like a mix of eras and styles
A traditional arcade would never have had Black Knight 1, 2 and 3 together. They would not have matched up a lineup of water themed games
They kept what was bringing in money, discarding the not-profitable, and putting in the new

I once had millionaire f14 high speed and getaway in a line . Disco heaven

I'm still trying with putting fathom barracora and seawitch together for a nautical triple

Can't say my line up really matches, although it does represent four different decades, should really put them oldest to newest, but really CBA to move them about :D

Always thought TMNT and Ghostbusters would look great next to each other, both really nice depictions of 80s classics.

New to old or alphabetical surely ;)

Loving the arcade Vs pin line ups. Very cool. It shows there is a need for frogger pinball.

Great post @Ashbo your current lineup looks great together.

Like you I also had a Time Machine and RFM. RFM doesnt really go with anything I feel. l think looked best in the corner on its own, unless it had one one of those Star Wars 2k machines next to it.

I already kinda know what I think I have in my head that would be nice together, and I now just chucked them together on one image, dam I think they would be nice together.

I was looking at the last Stranger Things for sale multiple times and I mean daily, me and my son watch some Stranger Things gameplay clips every other day. Now I have put these pair together in that above image I want this pair more than ever now 🤔😂

Lane 7 in Edinburgh now have Stranger Things in and my Son has played it, he loves it. I need to get over this week and have a few games on it now :) The only time I played Stranger Things was at Pinfest last year and loved the atmosphere of it, even though I had never seen the TV show at that time.
