Pinmonk .This is a shame

I ordered from some fans and bits from Pinmonk about 6 weeks ago and he has struggled to find a courier because of the uk vat issue.He has this morning e mailed to say he will send my order but it is still a problem for him,so he is stopping uk sales.If you want something from him i would get in quick before he changes his site to no uk .
 
I had the same issue when I ordered flipper cooling fans in Feb.

I was able to get it sent to my sisters in NY and she forwarded it on to me, with a reduced customs value. As a bonus Vic refunded me the P&P I had already paid as he offers free postage within the US.

He did point out that all his products were available to order from Ministry of Pinball, but you may come up with the same issues.

I contacted MOP last week about vat etc and they said although they are uk vat registered and collect vat, 1 in 20 uk customers are being asked to pay again!
 
I’m working with Vic to try and figure out a solution to this.

Even if we had stayed in the EU this would be happening. the root idea of this came from the EU - they implement the same system from July.

So are US companies stopping exports to the EU for the same reason? I honestly don't know the answer, but maybe they'll find a way for a market of c500,000,000 as opposed to c50,000,000
 
Maybe asking Phil Palmer - Items shipped to Terry at pinball life and then shipped to Phil.

Phil gets things shipped weekly!
 
No that’s sorted the issue with vic was he had some GNR problems - should ship today or tomorrow latest!
