What’s your thoughts on these?
Generally used to cover existing damage or prevent cabinet / art / decal damage.
I have them installed and don’t have any issues (so far)
Some people reckon they can actually cause wrinkling on decals.
I noticed some pins, the plastic protector doesn’t actually touch the cabinet decal , but on others it does when using a sheet of paper to test clearance.

From the product description:

PinGuard™ protectors are made out of polypropylene plastic. The advantages of polypropylene are:
* Polypropylene has a slippery surface texture so they tend to slide instead of dig in.
* Polypropylene is a softer plastic than most other plastics. This prevents the PinGuard™ protectors from digging into the pinball cabinet.
* PinGuard™ protectors are molded with a slight radius edge. This further prevents any digging into your pinball cabinet.
* PinGuard™ protectors are made from a new polished mold. There are no seams on this mold and it will not harm your cabinet.

I've heard from a couple of people that these are best for direct printed cabinet art and you should use the smaller metal ones when it's got decal artwork, so any wrinkling/damage is limited to being hidden behind the legs themselves.

I've got a few of these from various places and they seem to come in different sizes, some that over lap the legs and some that don't.

My JJP GnR seems to have the best solution. None of the legs go near the cab art at all which uses factory metal with felt underneath, a good 3mm standoff.
I’ve heard also what you mentioned above but haven’t seen any wrinkling evidence for the Pinguard other than people discussing it.
Pinguard manufacturing claims no issue but who knows 🤷‍♂️
All my pins are fine using them thus far but I still have some paranoia as the poly touches the cabs in areas.
