Some of the entrants for pin clash have been freaking amazing, Yesterday Matthew Richardson did an epic completion of Battle Royal (he celebrates with some swearing at the end!)

Finals tomorrow from 8pm on

I'm a Tournament Judge and its going to be an amazing event!

Watching this on Twitch now, I REALLY need to get my streaming setup sorted. Would loved to have taken part. I would have just scraped in to qualifying, but then confident I wouldn't have shown myself up in head2head

I watched it longer then I wanted...

They need to do away with the stupid interviews and have them uploaded on website if you want to watch them

Overall its too long winded and could easily be better time managed

Love watching this style of comp

The interviews are there so that we could get the players connected, games tested for tilt, settings etc brief the players on the competition - not sure how you could do that quicker; at least not live with using twitch as the platform.

The whole comp was extremely well ran, the interviews were great and as well as allowing time to get the next players ready was a welcome change from what normally happens, which is the presenters talking to themselves full of in-jokes.

Steve and Snow were great as the commentators, their passion shone through as well as their preparation as to what the challenges were (despite a couple of errors).

The standard of play was impressive, as to be expected, the match up where Escher got knocked out by Zac? was extraordinary and even went to VAR. The champ (Matthew?) getting 200mil in the 6 minute limit was exactly the way I'd have approached it. Mind Gem, Thor mb, then Soul Gem on Hard, he completed it with a second to spare.

I'm going to take a run through the different tier challenges and see how I compare. The strategies chosen by the players were mainly all in line with the way I'd approach it, just need to put it into practice now.
Could also do with finding the challenges for the first Pinclash on JP2 for when mine returns. Anyone know where I can find them?

Escher was against Luke - Luke nailed it and we were reviewing whilst he still played as his game didn’t present the final hulk total - so we had to add it up manually and he won it - easily the hardest challenge of the tournament and I think only two people actually completed it.

Zmac Zach was the first under 20 flips player during qualification and was definitely the best player from a consistency POV I also like how he really used the capabilities of the game smartly rather than just grind it. There was a lot of examples of that which was great to see! Kaylee’s like in seconds completion was nuts

One of the highlights though was Carlos laser_los who is just a brilliant guy and a great player - watch his stream from last night and the chungus army represented him during the tournament it was brilliant!

@Wayne J Let us know when you Collect An Iron Man Disc Super Jackpot inside 6 minutes ………… I think that was the only Challenge that beat the players !
I made a start yesterday. No trouble with any of the first 2 tiers, completing them all on first attempt, with a record of 2 secs for starting a gem quest.
Completed first few challenges on Tier 3, next up is Gem quest with 2 portal locks. Removing the skill shots makes that 1 harder

It’s a great and unique tournament makes pinball really fun

also throws a spanner in the works for some of the old guard who play a more controlled and slower pace of pinball
