I'm surprised no one else has mentioned this yet, being the worlds largest pinball competiton and all that.

All that way and sharing a room, it was inevitable that @dragon2000 and @alchy would end up playing each other.... which they did in session 3. It looks like @dragon2000 came out on top in that one...

Wooooooo. Thanks for the well wishes. After a nice start I got worse and worse though.

Started in division d today with a 4 point session.. My best excuse is that most of the games I'm playing are entirely new to me. But I'm also crap and have no real expectation of doing well thankfully

Really amazing line up of machines though. I did a video walk around and it took 20 minutes to cover all the machines. Will try and post it to YouTube if I can find fast Internet

Did not make the finals. Did however have a great time. Met loads of friendly yanks, and a couple of swedes.

Andrew made finals, so will try and follow his progress today, between playing in the consolation tournament.

Mmr is here, so is..
kiss (really good)
Whoa nellie. (Hmm.)
wwf (still crap, but improved since last time I saw it)
hobbit (still great, getting better. Now has a 'ring' button in the lock down bar)
Americas most haunted. (pretty nice to shoot. Looks like crap though)
Full throttle (as above)
Lexi lightspeed (not played it)

That's all my in depth reviews for now

Andrew Wilson is in the last 40 of D division and he got through his first round so he's in the last 28 and will win at least $200. How cool is that!

If he gets through the next round (again 2 from each group of 4 go through) then he's in the last 16 for minimum $250 ...... not that the money is relevant.

I was busy getting drunk and not winning quiz prizes whilst the final was taking place but

Spoiler alert...

$15k tiebreaker game on Iron Man? Sheeeeiit. Can't wait to watch that!

Thank you for the support guys. An excellent competition, makes you realise just how many pinball machines you have never seen, let alone played before. Very happy to even make it into the D Division finals. Went out in the second round of the finals - just didn't seem to get a chance for a decent flip and some very good players out there.

Good to have David and Paul out here too. Think we all had lots of fun. Loads to do other than pinball - arcade games, seminars, live music, inflatable obstacle courses etc. Plus possibly the best thing - wavy tube men!
