Hey ladies
I am sure this has been covered before, but has anyone used pin browser with a Mac?
Most of the links I find are at least 6 years old on pinside so I actually can’t even find where to get the bloody software from.
As there will be a lot of time to kill I am going to try and change some of the songs in Metallica

Dude, I thought pinbrowser was windows only although it's been ages since I've looked at it. If so you'd need to run it via bootcamp [emoji106]

There was a thread on pinside on this - I think you can do it using Crossover, but basically it's still windows. You can install Windows using bootcamp really easy.... See here: https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/t...modify-dot-matrix-images/page/15#post-1138378

Someone should here , or America offer a pinbrowser modding service for stupid technically challenged Mac owners like me .

I’ve sold my Met but did a few remixes that I probably still have the .bin files for. I’ll check which code they were on, but it was LE / Prem.

I swapped out the songs from the Black album onwards iirc, mainly for And Justice For All stuff.

I just need to join the queue for the PC what with 2 kids trying to be ‘at school’ and my wife trying to work.

Pinball Browser is really hard to get working on a mac. I had it working once thru crossover, closed it and it would not open again.

On my mac I use Parallels desktop and run windows 7 as a virtual machine.

I really wanted to add a few different non Metallica songs but keep the Met songs for the features just loose the start tracks

Parallels desktop is software you run on your mac. It allows you to install things like linux and windows onto a Mac without having to do a 'dual boot'.
