What is the problem with your Black Rose? someone here may have an easy fix for you!

There is sometimes a problem with the canon and I when I programme it for freeplay as soon as I turn it off then back on it's not feeplay anymore, when I opended the backbox the battery terminals looked corroded, I have all the manuals etc

Could just be the batteries need replacing. Clean up the terminals and replace them. Might solve all your problems in one! If not can you be more specific with the cannon problem.

The old batteries can cause acid damage to your boards if the acid begins to leak!! then the problems become much more expensive to fix, as Alan said get them out ASAP!! replace with new ones, re-program freeplay and your preffered other settings and hopefully they will stay in place.

Good luck!!

I'm going to check it tomorrow, one of the problems is when the canon tries to load, the ramp won't stay up !! the ramp tries to open 3 or 4 times then stays closed, I would really like someone who knows more about the machines than me to have a look at it, I could arrange for it to be delivered in the Newcastle upon Tyne area

Thanks for all the replies and advice, I appreciate it.

Common fault on Rosie, The arm which holds up Davy Jones Locker ramp need to be stripped down and all the old grease cleaned off . When reassembling DO NOT use any kind of lube, it does not need it. Just take the arm mech to bits and fully clean each part, then put back together and fit back to the machine.

This should solve your problem.

If you can get the machine down to Lancashire I can sort it for you. That is if its eaiser than taking it to Newcastle.

If Newcastle is easier then Alan will sort it for you no problem.
