Yeah, there was an update on Facebook.
They have signed (or about to sign) the lease for the new place.
They’ve got to do some work to get it ready but will then be open at the new location in a month or so.

Croydon still, in some shopping center I believe.
The new venue is within the Centrale shopping centre. We are just waiting for access so we can get the electrics sorted, install machines etc. fingers crossed we will be open within a month

It's great you guys managed to secure a more commercially sensible venue. Although that does come with risks.

Those lights are just wires with a socket and bulb at each end hung over a mesh grid and cable tied up! They don't work but are a bastard to take down. Done about 50, 150 to go!

There will be a LOT of casual newbies (not that I have any issue with that).
You will need a swipe access and turnstile near the entrance. A sign with Visitors/membership queries phone this number etc..

Pinball Republic is a club, so I assume to increase those members.
If that makes more people want to join the hobby, then both forums may get increased members which is good for the community.
