Pinball Protectors

Thanks for that - a good review. They don't look too good IMHO, I'll stick wax and polish

They have there benefits. I have one installed on my funhouse. It's pre diamond plate with a fairly worn playfield. It had raised inserts which I levelled however they weren't billiard table flat afterwards.
I had the playfield stripped for cleaning anyway so thought I'd give one a whirl.
I'm seriously impressed with its fit, no adhesive or screws needed, just lay it on.
In my situation it was the perfect solution. It masked the ever so slightly bumpy inserts and will prevent further wear.
It plays super quick and for the first time in 12 months I cleaned it with novus 2 and now it gleams.

There's probably little point installing one on a home use diamond plate playfield. But system 11 or earlier could be beneficial in preserving it.

Saying that I've got one to install on my fishtales as I plan to install a waterslide decal over the fish inserts which should then protect those.

I've had my mind changed. Neither of my machines needs one right now - but I'll be certainly considering in the future. Thanks for the replies chaps
