Pinball machine signed by Elton John

I assume that’s the Captain Fantastic that was on eBay for a year or so (?), 2022 or possibly even earlier, at £15k… I think it was just the glass that had been signed.

Yes, and the guy who was selling it on ebay provided copies of the pages from the christies auction catalogue where it had previously been sold, several years earlier, if I recall correctly, in that auction catalogue, it never mentioned the elton John signature on the glass, so I queried this with the seller at the time - he never replied!

it will be interesting to find out when EJ signed it, if he ever did? is it genuine signature? Why, would you sign across the playfield glass ffs?

looks like christie’s got it signed by EJ after they sold it to the guy who’s just made a nice profit!!!

Mr pimlico would have paid £100k I guess and not even batted an eyelid.

I don't think EJ signed it as there was no provenance.

CF along with wizard and fireball are probably at the top money for EMs . Maybe 3k for a nice one . Everytime we have had press at electric circus that's the machine they go to for pictures .

It was originally sold by christie’s as being owned by EJ i recall seeing the pages from their catalogue, when he listed it on ebay.

Its a bargain....

The value isn't in the machine, its getting his mug and publicity for the company on prime time TV.

Plus unlike spending 33k on a TV ads, he gets a pinball machine.

Not owned by him just Elton memorabilia.
That pic what I posted is from the brochure.
