I'm off to Bournemouth for the football tomorrow and thought I might pop down to the pier to see if there are any pins in the arcade.

I just thought that I'd check here first to see if anyone knows and to save a wasted journey.

I'm aware that Pinside has a map but the one time I tried to use it both locations were without pinball.

Thanks in advance
Kris

Try https://www.pinformer.co.uk/ too.

Between that and the pinside map you can usually get a good idea, but as you pointed out, each are only as good as the regular contributors. So if you end up being led on a wild goose chase (or find that the pins are dire) make sure you feedback into those apps so others can benefit 👍

Thanks mate, I wasn't aware of that page.

I liked that Deadpool game a lot.

Hard to assess Creature because it needed a service but reminded me of TOM a bit.

A bit disappointed with star wars.

Ghostbusters was quite enjoyable.

Where the leg bolts tight?

Last time I was there I took a spanner and tightened them all up as TWD and GB were all over the place.

Suspect the code is ancient on them also!

Did you? 😂

I can't say that I checked but I now appreciate that I've been spoilt rotten playing my mates perfectly serviced machine for the last 20 years.

The Ghostbusters looked like it might have been a good pin but the left flipper would stick and you'd have to press both at the same time to release it. CFTBL was in terrible condition too which was a shame as I'd heard so much about it and was looking forward to finally playing.

The regrettable thing is that there may well be people trying pinball for the first time. The sticky flipper and inactive ball save may well be enough to make them not bother again.
