there are 3 different versions based on different years, this is not a cheap one, you maybe able to find it cheaper

I'd say Pinball Compendium is the bible. It is amazing. I have the 1982 to Present one. It is better than you could hope. I can't begin to think how many hours of work went into creating it. A must buy.
Edit: Every machine by manufacturer in each year, with loads of photos - and lots of interviews with the creatives about their work and about specific machines, and editorial too. It's class.

If you are after an interesting read, take a look at the pinball magazine series. They are huge publications and well worth a look
I'd recommend Pinball by Santiago Ciuffo. It's a book of pinball photography with some commentary and it's a really nice book.

Does anyone have any issues of Pinball Magazine (or any books) they'd like to sell on? I'll likely order a couple of issues of the magazine (I see that the 2nd issue is sold out), but thought I'd ask here on the off chance.
