Anyone know of any? Have a few hours to kill between my train landing (11am) and meeting some folks there on 27th September.

Obviously I know about pinformer etc but as I found out yesterday in Manchester, its not exactly accurate.

Failing that anyone know of any in Northampton? Could get a quick train there and back.

Cheers

Northampton has a Star Trek Pro at a place called Sixfields Hungry Horse but it is a bit of a trek from the station. I'm sure there is a couple more in town but I can't look where at the moment as pinformer is blocked at my work :( I don't know MK so I can't comment!

Well in total I have 4-5 hours to kill, London isnt far on the train so may even pop down there for a couple of hours :)

Anyone in the area able to keep me occupied? Beer tokens are available

There was a Spiderman at Xscape (The indoor snow thing). It was upstairs where the Cinema is, little arcade on the side. I was last there about 6 weeks ago.
It's not far from the station.

Am gonna head down to London and probably head to The Pipeline for a bit. Anyone got other recommendations of spots in the big smoke?

Just to report back on pinball outside of The Pipeline in London that I explored into.

There's an amusements on Wardour Street called Las Vegas, had 2 pins, LOTR and Metallica, both £1 for 1 game or £2 for 3 games. LOTR played surprisingly well and had a few games on it, didn't notice anything not working right and got some good scores on it and a couple of extra games too. Noticed Martin Ayub was the grand champ on it.

The Metallica looked in nice shape but didn't really play very well, it's not a table I've played before and it must have been the normal table as it was quite bare of toys. Firstly I got my first played ball stuck behind the target behind the captive balls so had to get someone to get it removed, the bloke who freed it gave me a free game. Secondly the table was not level at all and had quite a sloping left to right playfield which was very annoying. Finally and most annoying, it's a music themed table that had the volume turned wayyyyyyyy down.

I then went to the Superdry department store on a Regent Street where there was supposedly 2 pins on free play. I found them there (Fish Tales and Gilligans) but both were switched off.

Finally I went to an amusements on Tottenham Court road, no pins found on the upper level. There looked to be a lower level but it was roped off and the jobsworth staffing there gave me a filthy look when I peered down.

So overall a bit of a waste unless you like LOTR which I do thankfully.

I did the pin crawl around central London about 18 months ago, the 2 pins in the superdry store were the same and switched off but I switched them on and played. The " casino " on Tottenham court rd had a LOTR which played quite well at the time. I did plenty of research online before I went but most of the places that were supposed to have pins didn't have any. Sadly, being a Saturday the pipeline didn't open until 4pm ( ??? ) so it wasn't open during the time I had.
