Got this for Christmas off the wife. It didn't look too promising from the box as it suggests its only compatible with a few ready made tables that all looked a bit ****. However, after hooking it up to the iPad I was pleasantly surprised that it works with Ac/Dc pinball and Slayer Pinball amongst others. I'm actually quite enjoying it now !

If I am driving a real car, I feel the effects which adds pleasure to the driving. I can then enjoy driving a 150 BHP car. If I am playing a car simulator, I feel very little and so the only sensation I get is from the images and sound effect. Then I have to be driving a super fast car to enjoy it as much.

Pinball arcade are real machines, virtualised and lose a little of the original feel and pleasure. The pinball HD collection are unrealistic machines that are actually fun to play as they could probably never be made in real life. Those I am still working on the smoke machine and flame thrower mods for my TAF.;)

:noidea:
When the seagulls follow the trawler, it's because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea. Thank you very much

I found the physics to be more consistent on Pinball HD too (some of the Pinball Arcade tables do strange things) and I like the way the camera moved around the tables. Like you say, not as realistic, but as a game engine I think I prefer Pinball HD.

Not really a fan of video pinball. I prefer total physical control. That said, i have used vpinmame to play a lot of games i wanted to buy in order to see if they were any good or not in the past. The duo HD attachment looks like a step in the right direction though.
