I know people have had issues with plastics from these. I have bought some in the passed and they turned up like they'd been used as a builders trowl. They replaced them for me at no additional cost but the colour still was off.

However i have never bought a ramp from them and they just happen to have the ramp and bowl i need. Would hate to spend the cash and they turn up s#it.
Has anybody had any issues with ramps from them?

These are the two I'm looking to buy

Ths
We bought some sttng ramps from them last week for a job, they were great. We also got some wcs94 plastics and they were poor, the colours had a Matt kind of look to them...not great. Hope that helps.....
That's brilliant. I will go for the ramps.
There's one particular plastic they have that i could do with. The coin toss plastic for wcs94. It's mostly clear with decal letters. I don't see how they could get it wrong really.

I suspect they get their ramps from Starship Fantasy, the same place Pinball Heaven gets them and these are of high quality so you should be good. Have you spoken to Phil about ordering them through him...might work out better postage wise

It doesn't look like he has the bowl decal on the website. I'll email him and have a word

I bought a TAF swamp plastic off them and it wasn't 100% original colours, but did the job and wasn't too far off.

I've just took a chance on two hard to find Judge Dredd plastics so hopefully OK....

Seems willing to create a new set for Robowar too hopefully, once he has the scans. :)

I hope they're okay for you. They seem to struggle on matching colours and quality of the print.

Problem is, some things like the two large Judge Dredd plastics I just bought are not available anywhere else....

Same here, I just bought the captive ball plastic which I couldn't find elsewhere.
Bought my Earthshaker plastics from them. Some ok, some poor and colours wrong. Asked for refund but had to ship them back myself at my cost, so out by 30 euros or so. Gave me a a refund on a chunk, probably only going to use them until I get a set from Marcos.

Service side they are pretty good though.

I recently got slingshot plastics for TSPP and was happy with them. (one corner broke off after a few games but my fault I guess for not putting the large washers back on. But they looked alright so I will order some more).

Also they made me up a batch of clear display BSD speaker panels which I was happy with.

But I trust other's opinions on here so I guess it's a bit of a gamble.

Has anyone had the WH20 boulders plastics from them? What are they like, are these the plastics you meant that were duff @chris b ?

I've had a couple of taxi plastics from them which were completely missing. So something is better than nothing..... right?
The quality wasn't great but I'll take it over nothing.

The boulders for WH20 look way too dark from the pics but I'd like to see them in person as pics can be deceiving.

Too true, I'd been looking for the TSPP plastics for a year, they do seem to stock quite a few bits that are hard to find elsewhere. And the email alert you can sign up for when stuff comes back in is useful.

Just got a JM speaker panel from Pinballcenter and it looks terrible. Original top, new bottom: (its effing BROWN!)

Of course they want me to send it back for a refund to Germany. Might just youtube a vid of me burning it instead.

There's no way i'll be buying a clear Dracula panel from them after seeing their quality. Should have listened to posts in this thread but the closeness of their operation had me buying. Lesson learned (again).

Protective cover is still on (the lines you see is the protective film). I was more concerned about the colour (brown instead of black) and the registration of the white (look closely at the top edge of the dmd window, its bleeding white into the clear)

Your BSD ones look good from the pics you posted but wary of buying from the pinball center now.

Yes the BSD covers were decent copies, but it's odd that they didn't tell me I could remove the red filter from the one they sell, so the one they sell now may not be the same.

Just found out those lines are actually on the graphics and not just the protective film. :tut: I also got this response from PinballCenter:

"Dear Russ,

you are the first which found it not got and we sure sell 20pcs of this

I think most people found it ok, because if you have a damaged one this are better as this

And if you change it no one see it, if you not have the original on side

THanks
Marco"

*sighs*

Contemplating sending it back after i use it in place of toilet paper.

I'd say a high percentage of people have not been happy with the plastics they sell. I'd be particularly worried about my reputation as a company. They really need to raise their standards. And on that note, I will not be buying my ramps from them.
Feel free to link them to this thread

Not a plastic but like most I use them as a last resort. I'd avoid their Tron black recogniser discs that are supposed to be "self adhesive" - I've had 2 now and within maybe 40 games both the outer rings have ripped themselves off during a game because the adhesive is awful. The first one I had replaced for free but the second I can't be bothered with the hassle.

I ended up buying a final non-adhesive disc from Pinball Heaven and sticking it down with contact adhesive.

I bought exactly the same JM speaker panel a few months ago and mine is perfect. Looks like there was a print problem with yours and they missed it during QC before shipping. I would ask them to exchange it.

As for everything else Pinball Center sell, well guys you have to accept that a lot of this stuff is EXTREMELY hard to reproduce - and take it from somebody who has tried with various parts. Even with the original tooling/artwork files it's still hard to make with modern technology. I even see people complaining about PPS repro stuff. The choice is either put up with broken and faded original parts, or accept new repro parts that won't be an exact match to stuff that was made in the 80's and 90's.

I wouldn't have a bad word said about Pinball Center. I buy 99% of all my parts from them and that's a lot when orders of £300 - £500 are being made every few months. They are the only people who have never once messed up my order, sent wrong parts or left stuff missing, and the support from them is always top notch when I need to get in touch. Can't say the same for UK parts suppliers.
