Pinball at the Pipeline

I've just been. I can say without fear or favour it's the coolest bar I've been to. 5x pins, pool tables, awesome tunes.
Pins are: sterns; RBION, ACDC (one up from pro), playboy and Grand Prix and a Bally Corvette.

I had the pleasure of meeting newcomer to the group, CJ. An amazing player, he put a new high score on corvette. By the time he'd finished playing 3 balls, he'd all but walked the machine outta the door!

i sunk a few squid into ACDC. I've played the pro before and I wasn't impressed. This one rocks though. Although I couldn't get to the lower pf. Couldn't figure it out!

So thanks to Matt Vince for operating them. They are awesome. Upper flipper on RBION is very weak though mate;-) you can afford a new coil now though after the £££'s I sunk in there tonight!!

I can't wait to get back there!

I keep meaning to go as I work within 20 minutes walk of this place most Mondays, the problem is by the time I've walked there I get about 15 minutes play before I have to trek back, I had to leave some credits in LOTR in the arcade on TC Road last time I went as I had to get back. One day I'll have a half day meeting and drop some coins.

Do it mate. The atmosphere was great. Lots of groups playing 4 player games, getting involved. I was introduced to Thomas (I think that's his name) the bar owner. Really nice guy.

Seconded. The Pipeline is a fantastic place, would love to get there more often.

Great music, machines and associated rock stuff (where else can you see a life size drawing of Lemmy?). Thomas has poured his heart and soul into the place and it really shows. I know there's been rumours of a contest being held there again next year, so fingers crossed that comes off.

Also it's always fun to see out of Londoner's jaws drop when they discover the price of a pint in the city!
