Pin Locations in NYC

I'm off to NYC with the family for a few days at the end of the month and wondered where are the places to play.
I've seen NY Modern and Sunshine Laundry Mat are very popular, but are there any others that I really should visit while I'm there?
Also, my step daughter is only 16. Are there restrictions to any of the places that would prevent her entering?

I honestly wouldn’t bother with Modern, its more a tourist spot than a pinball spot, the pins are not in the best of shape. You’d be far better going to Sunshine and Jackbar, both in Brooklyn. Both are great locations although be aware the pins in Sunshine are setup tough.

Planning on taking the family to Modern, but then having a day on my own searching a few places out, whilst the ladies are shopping
I'll Google Jack Bar and see where that is in relation to Sunshine.
Any others?

Theres a Barcade (TM) In Brooklyn, probably worth a visit, has an Alice etc

Jackbar is very close to Sunshine. Echo Ian's view on modern - it sucks. Wednesday night Sunshine League, Thursday Jackbar strikes league...

Pioneers Bar NYC
few new pins at front and other arcade/pool at the rear, nice food and drink!
