Has anyone tried this seller please ? Some prices look quite competitive

Some prices look quite competitive

New machine prices?

Those prices obviously exclude VAT & shipping, plus ongoing support might be trickier when buying from outside the UK.

You might save a few quid, and we all like a bargain, but your risk of finding an amicable resolution to 'Stern quality control' problems increases significantly in my opinion.

I'd ask @philpalmer his opinion, seeing as he's the main UK dealer.

bought a few things off them, all fine-tho you may have to pay vat as they are outside the EU

Bought a Pinscore display from them which was damaged on receipt. Their suggestion was to send me a replacement SMT component for me to solder myself which unsurprisingly I declined. No further contact until a PayPal dispute was raised after which a replacement part was sent direct from Pinscore. Just my 2p. ☺

They used to be good. Needed two coils, prices were good. Took a month to tell me the total. By then, I'd gone elsewhere. Made 4 complaints via their on-line form. No apology. Lost custom from me for any future dealing.

Can be good for some hard to find parts. Factor in 20% VAT + £15 arrangement fee for the postoffice in case of getting caught for import duty.
